German cockroaches are small, about 1.5 cm long, and light brown with two dark stripes behind the head. They live indoors, close to food and water, and they breed very quickly. A single female carries an egg case holding 30 to 40 young, and those young can breed within a couple of months. That is why a few cockroaches can turn into a real problem in one summer.
