Trails appear along kitchen benches, around the dishwasher and up through gaps in the tiles, often after rain or during hot weather. Outside, ants build nests in garden beds, under pavers and along the edges of driveways, and newer estates with fresh turf and mulch give them plenty of room.
The crew we book starts by tracing the trails back to where the ants are coming from. Some nest outside and come in only for food. Others move into wall cavities, under the slab or into electrical boxes. Finding the nest, or at least the direction the ants come from, makes a real difference to how the treatment is planned and helps the crew choose between baits, sprays or both.
